We encourage families to do research and explore whether Empowered Minds Academy’s learner-driven model is a “GOOD FIT” for your family. As part of your research, you’re invited to register for an info session, tour, or chat. We enjoy talking to curious families!

Virtual Information Session, Sunday March 7th, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Virtual Chat, Thursday, March 18th, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Self-Guided Tour/Open House, Sunday, April 11th, 2:00 – 3:30 pm

Virtual Chat, Sunday, Wednesday, April 21st, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

In-Person Info-Session (Limited Spots Available), Sunday, April 25th, 3:00 – 4:30 pm

want their children to take ownership of their learning experiences.
believe the conventional school system no longer works to prepare children for the modern world.
have a growth mindset and believe that failure is an essential part of the learning process.
are Trailblazers and Trendsetters, Creators & Creatives, and Out-of-the Box Thinkers.
want the benefits of learner-directed learning without having to make a full-time commitment to homeschooling.
have flexible schedules who need flexible attendance for travel and family obligations.

treasure social prestige, status, and really prefer a conventional education.
are “blamers” and ultimately will gossip and criticize, no matter what.
aren’t sure their child is ready yet for the responsibility and struggles – and occasional tears – of truly independent learning (and may be right).
are not committed to a S/Hero’s Journey themselves.
practice lawnmower parenting (knocking down obstacles so their child never experiences hardship) or helicopter parenting (overseeing every aspect of their child’s life).
